In order to make this possible they are part of a safety community partnership that work together in order to make their town as safe as possible.
Shrewsbury s community partnership s aim is to make cut down the danger of crime but also the sadness that it brings, they aim to make their streets feel safe at all times of the day. They want to make people feel safe to be able to go to their local parks and fields without feeling threaten or scared by anyone else that might be hanging around.
As well as cutting down on crime the partnership also wants to cut out anti social behaviour, they strive to get people to talk about the fears they have about local crime and to address the current crime they believe is happening. This is a strategy that they have but forward in order to show the people of Shrewsbury that they are serious about their plans on cutting crime right down.
